A message from MUW Foundation: Spring 2026

Dear Alumni and Friends,
What a great time to be a fan of The W! We are winning at every turn! We have always been ranked well amongst our peers, but in the past few months, the accolades just keep rolling in. In the fall, we had the largest enrollment percentage increase in the state. Historically, we will graduate a higher percentage of these new students than the other state universities. They will have less debt, and, most of all, four years after graduation, they will earn more per year than their peers at other institutions. That is truly cause for celebration!
How did we get here? The dedicated work of everyone on our beautiful campus. From our groundskeeping and janitorial staff, to our administrative staff, to our professors and most especially our first alumna president, Nora Miller, we are so fortunate to have such good stewards of our resources and our mission. We owe all of them a debt of gratitude, but especially to President Miller who has served in many roles on campus and has led us with a firm and steady hand through many storms. Her calm leadership has been key to all of these successes and the legacy she leaves will be felt for years to come.
Now that the world is recognizing our worth in real numbers, we need to share it! We are so good at coming together to fight in times of crisis. We need to be even better at coming together to share our victories. We have so many to share! Now, like never before, is the time to rally.
This is our championship moment. We are graduating more students with less debt who earn more money than any other university in the state. That is exactly what a university is supposed to do, and we do it BEST! There’s not a trophy nor a title that is more important than producing successful graduates. That’s what we do. We win for our students. We win for our communities. We win where it matters. We win for real life. Let’s start walking in our worth.
In the things that matter, The W wins — we graduate the most students with the least amount of debt and they are paid better than their peers.
With heartfelt thanks,
