Greetings From The Alumni Association President

Hello Long Blue Line!
Since my last note, I’ve been deeply moved by the messages, memories and enthusiasm many of you have shared. Your stories remind me again and again of the unshakable bond we have through The W, and they strengthen my belief that together we can create something extraordinary for our alumni community and for the students who will follow in our footsteps.
As I step further into this role, I want to share a few ways we can keep this momentum going:
STAY CONNECTED.
We are stronger when we show up for one another. Whether it’s attending reunions, joining a regional gathering or engaging online, every connection we make keeps our Long Blue Line alive. I encourage you to reach out, reconnect.and share your W story-it matters.
UPLIFT OUR STUDENTS.
Our current students are the heart of The W today. They are walking the same paths we once did, filled with hope, ambition and a little uncertainty. Let’s continue to mentor, encourage and invest in them. A kind word, a scholarship contribution or even a note of encouragement can make all the difference.
BE PROUD AMBASSADORS.
Everywhere we go, we represent The W. By telling our stories, celebrating our alma mater and highlighting the accomplishments of fellow alumni, we help the world see what makes The W so special.
The months ahead will bring exciting opportunities to gather, celebrate and contribute to our shared mission. I’ll be in touch with more details soon, but for now, I simply want to say thank you for your passion, pride and presence which keep our W spirit strong.
Let’s continue to walk boldly together into this next chapter. I am honored to serve alongside you.
In W Spirit and Service,
Ashley Dean, Class of 2006
