The Odys Awards 2025

Award will recognize collaboration as exhibited through partnership, teamwork and the incorporation of different perspectives, resources, and responsibilities.

This award recognizes an individual who demonstrates leadership and influence across a wide spectrum of campus organizations to benefit the student experience. The student consistently shows optimism and enthusiasm in a team setting and encourages positive change to services, processes, and/or programs

Awarded to any registered student organization that has improved over the course of the year through membership growth, increased visibility, or contribution to campus.

Awarded to an individual student who has improved over the course of the year through organization membership, increased responsibility, or increased contribution to campus.

This award recognizes an individual who demonstrates leadership in promoting campus spirit and pride (ex: introduced a new tradition or innovative idea to promote campus life and/or the university's prestige), exemplifies loyalty to The W, and shows a positive attitude and cooperative spirit.

Group who stands out with new ideas to enhance the student learning environment. Nominees for this award will have shown initiative to innovation as they address student needs through programming.

This award is presented to an individual that is seemingly everywhere. This is for the student that may not be a part of every organization, but you can count on them to support every event. They're eating in the caf, at the gym, in the library, going to games to support the Owls, at every event hosted on campus, and (of course) going to class!

Award will recognize a freshman, sophomore, or junior student who has begun to develop their leadership skills and who has shown potential for great leadership at The W during the academic school year.

Awarded to an exceptional student for their contributions to campus that improved the student experience or their contributions to the community through service.  

Awarded to organization that produced the most impactful educational program in the current school year.

The advisor/sponsor who provides exceptional advice and assistance to their organization throughout the school year is recognized by this award. They contribute to the growth of the organization and campus community by being visible and engaged. 

Recognizes the accomplishments of a transfer student, who has exemplified dedication and leadership and is engaged and involved in The W community.

This award recognizes a student who goes above and beyond in their role as student worker. Their commitment to The W and their office does not go unnoticed.

This award is presented to an organization that has made a significant effort to further its purpose through its contribution to The W community. This award recognizes consistent flexibility, initiative, creativity, and perseverance through activities and programs. Furthermore, the organization embodies commitment to leadership development, collaboration, and programming to enhance the quality of campus. The Student Organization of the Year is considered a role model for other organizations on our campus.

Awarded to a graduating (May, August or December) senior who has demonstrated a long-term commitment to their student group and campus activities through service and leadership. This student exemplifies strong school pride, has made an impact in their group, and has maintained high academic standards during their time at MUW. They have promoted excellence and have helped develop the next class of leaders.
