Developing Our Future

This online program will develop professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to provide services, teach, and guide young children, ages birth to eight. Early childhood development will allow students to begin preparing immediately for rewarding careers as professionals in early childhood education. Students will be equipped with a combination of early childhood-specific and elementary education instruction and supervised mentorship.


As an early childhood development major, you will take classes such as:

  • Media Literacy Education
  • Education as a Profession
  • Principles of Early Childhood Learning
  • Introduction to Exceptional Learners
  • Teacher Internship in Early Childhood
