National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week

Police

Experience a "CRASH" course on alcohol and drugs in observance of National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week. The W Counseling Center, Campus Police Department and Community Counseling Prevention Services are joining together to host an educational and fun event to help promote awareness of the dangers of drinking under the influence of alcohol and drugs.

The event will be Tuesday, Oct. 22 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. outside Hogarth Cafeteria.

Teaching Circle Grant deadline Oct. 15

The Teaching Circle Grants deadline is Oct. 15. A Teaching Circle is a group of W faculty and instructors, consisting of at least five but preferably no more than ten people, interested in talking about or working on some aspect of teaching and/or student learning. Circles can be interdisciplinary or focus on a single discipline and can be reconvened annually for as long as the group desires. New or existing circles are eligible to apply for grants of up to $500 to support their work.

Suggest a story or photo

SEPC listening session

In order to maximize the vast knowledge and experience our university community has to offer, the SEPC welcomes feedback, ideas, and opportunities for improvement from the campus community. The next listening session will be Tuesday, October 15 at 2:00 p.m. in the Turner Hall Auditorium.
