Jones<\/strong>\u00a0is the author of two collections of poetry,\u00a0<em>dark \/\/ thing<\/em>and\u00a0<em>Magic City Gospe<\/em>l. She is a native of Birmingham, Alabama, where she is executive director of the Magic City Poetry Festival and teaches at the Alabama School for the Arts.
