Paul MackDr. Paul Mack, associate professor of biology, attended the First Joint Congress on Evolutionary Biology conference held in Ottawa, Canada.

This event brought together five of the world’s largest academic societies devoted to the study of evolutionary biology and ecology including the Society for the Study of Evolution, American Society of Naturalists, the Canadian Society for Ecology and Evolution, the European Society for Evolutionary Biology and the Society of Systematic Biologists.

His research is focused on what is known as ‘intersexual conflict’ - the conflict that arises between males and females over the outcome of reproduction.
