Passport to Wellness
Made possible through a grant from Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi Foundation, Passport to Wellness is a year-long program geared towards educating participants and encouraging action. It addresses the problem of unhealthy lifestyle choices relating to diet and physical activity. The program operates within Columbus/Lowndes County to serve the residents of this community. Target populations include: Elementary school students, Faculty, Staff and Students of Mississippi University for Women, and the general Columbus/Lowndes County public. A series of educational and community events emphasizing health and wellness will take place throughout the year.
