RN to BSN Steps to Get Started

Step 1: Apply to The W

Apply for admission to The W. Utilize the following information to fill out application.

• Application Entry Term:
• Part-Time: Summer – We start a new part-time program every summer.
• Full-Time: Fall – We start a new full-time program every fall.
• If you would like to work on prerequisites prior to starting the program enter the desired start term but be mindful of the once-per-year entry terms for the program.

• Student Type for Application:
• Returning – if you have previously attended The W
• Transfer – if you have never attended The W
• Current MUW ASN Student - Please do not submit another application. Contact the office at (662) 620-5380 for assistance.

• Intended Major (this serves as your application to the RN to BSN program):
• Nursing, BSN - RN-to-BSN Part-Time Option
• Nursing, BSN - RN-to-BSN Full-Time Option

Application Deadlines: The application deadline for part-time program is April 26, 2024 and for full-time program is EXTENDED: June 21, 2024.

Step 2: Submit Transcripts

Send ALL official college transcripts, including from The W, to Undergraduate Admissions. We accept the following options:

Transcript Review (unofficial) – The RN to BSN staff will contact you via email regarding prerequisite courses you may need to take.
