RecFitness/Bootcamp classes set for return

COLUMBUS, Miss.-- Mississippi for Women Campus Recreation will continue its phased re-opening Monday with the return of its RecFitness and Bootcamp classes.

Face Masks Required: The W, The City of Columbus, & Lowndes County (by order of the Governor) require individuals to wear masks. All faculty, staff, students, and visitors are required to wear face coverings unless walking alone in an outdoor space or working alone in a personal office space.

Columbus, Miss. – Brandon native Megan Beard has been awarded the 2020 Culinary Arts Advisory Board Scholarship, an endowed fund presented by the Mississippi University for Women Alumni Association.
COLUMBUS, Miss.-- On Sept. 8-10, Emma Grace Olsen, Mary Ashley Hammons, Hannah Harrison, Claire Wiygul, Barbara Doorenbos, Kallie Smith and Sydney Minton, all first-year graduate speech language pathology students, conducted speech, language and hearing screenings for Clay County Head Start in West Point. Dr. Kathy Shapley and Ashley Alexander provided training and supervision for the students.

Columbus, Miss.- Olivia Eubanks of Leakesville is the 2020 MUWAA Legacy Scholarship recipient. A freshman education major, Eubanks is the daughter of Michelle “Shelley” Dobbins Eubanks, an alumna of Mississippi University for Women, where she was a student from 1988 to 1991.
