COLUMBUS, Miss.— Mississippi University for Women’s Office of Admissions will offer three interactive Zoom sessions that will provide information about the university, admissions, and highlight opportunities for transfer students.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, colleges and universities across the nation are finding new ways to connect with potential students. The W is no different, and it is using virtual programming to replace mass in-person events to help ensure students still have access to its admissions counselors and academic interests.
As one of only 112 universities in the nation recognized for exceptional support of transfer students by Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for associate degree-granting colleges, The W is committed to the success of traditional and non-traditional students.
Each Zoom session will include an interactive presentation and videos. The event will include a guide to help navigate The W’s admissions process, scholarship opportunities and campus life. Admissions officers and student success navigators also will be on the call to answer questions. Each session will close with a question-and-answer period.
The W will announce additional Zoom session dates in April at a later date.
