The song only became famous after it was included in <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Walt_Disney\">Walt Disney<\/a>&#8216;s 1942 animated film <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Saludos_Amigos\"><em>Saludos Amigos<\/em><\/a>. \u00a0 <br><br><strong><em>It Don\u2019t Mean a Thing If It Ain\u2019t Got That Swing<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Ellington and Mills\/Lopez <br>Soloists: V Gammel &amp; Charlene Stork, Vocals and Zachariah Harden, Drumset<br><br>According to Ellington, the song&#8217;s title was the credo of trumpeter <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bubber_Miley\">Bubber Miley<\/a>, who was dying of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Tuberculosis\">tuberculosis<\/a> at the time.
