{"id":292,"date":"2022-04-20T14:33:00","date_gmt":"2022-04-20T19:33:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.muw.edu\/music\/?p=292"},"modified":"2022-10-20T14:35:13","modified_gmt":"2022-10-20T19:35:13","slug":"opera-workshop-scenes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.muw.edu\/music\/virtual\/opera-workshop-scenes\/","title":{"rendered":"Opera Workshop Scenes"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Department of Music at Mississippi University for Women will present an evening of favorite moments from music drama Thursday, April 28 and Friday, April 29, in Poindexter Hall\u2019s Kossen Auditorium. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Opera Workshop Scenes\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/tJEunQHN7AQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Opera Workshop Scenes performances features excerpts from Mozart\u2019s ever-popular \u201cThe Magic Flute\u201d and Puccini\u2019s beloved \u201cLa Boheme,\u201d alongside several others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This performance is a capstone project performed by students in the Opera Workshop class.
