This aria from the Italian opera L’amor contrastato is sung by a young person who feels this new feeling of love but makes it out to be torment. She describes it as prickly and pinching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This aria from Marriage of Figaro is sung by a young boy who has all of these feelings for women. In this scene, he is singing a song he wrote to the Countess, confessing his feelings in a childish manner. While he is doing so, she is most certainly interested in his performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This traditional spiritual talks about the man named Death taking the people I care about, causing me such pain while doing so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
