In addition to a repository for knowledge, the Library will seek active ways of engaging the campus and community with tools and resources.<\/em><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A. We will <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">initiate opportunities for knowledge creation and sharing<\/span> by: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Offering high impact learning experiences within the library<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Providing access to technologies that further the university&#8217;s mission to explore new and developing research methods and tools<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"demonstrating\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Demonstrating Our Value<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The Library deeply understands the value (ethical, theoretical, and financial) of information<a href=\"#_ftn1\" id=\"_ftnref1\"><strong>[1]<\/strong><\/a> in a rapidly changing environment, inundated with information of vastly varying quality, cost, and availability. Libraries are often competing with resources that appear more convenient or seem to require less effort, and have recently faced more public scrutiny than previously. We will <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">underscore the value of libraries<\/span> within the institutional mission to campus and community stakeholders by:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Connecting library initiatives to evidence that demonstrates measurable student learning, engagement, and success outcomes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supporting faculty advancement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Regularly assessing library programs and offerings<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"strengthening\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Strengthening Campus and Community Relationships<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Libraries continually strive to mirror their collections, services, and mission after the people who use them.
