About Bailey
A repository of useless, but interesting trivia, Bailey enjoys sharing knowledge with others and learning whenever possible. He enjoys greeting people with a smile and positivity and believes laughter has healing properties. Bailey is always willing to lend a hand to those who need it and enjoys helping others create. He is currently a Public Services Associate and enjoys working at the historic institution of MUW.

Eagle Scout Project, 2013 – Designed, organized, and installed a butterfly garden for Cool Springs Environmental Education Center near New Bern, NC
309 Punk House Project, Oral History Interviewer, 2019 – Interviewed a member of the punk community about their experiences in Pensacola, FL while living in the 309 House, a semi-famous commune for punks of the Nineties and early Aughts
Graduate Practicum, 2020 – Designed, implemented, and populated a cataloging system for the Bagdad Village Preservation Association’s volunteer-operated museum in Bagdad, FL
Friendly City Books, bookseller, 2020-2021 – Was one of the first employees at Columbus’ premier bookstore and is proud of the store’s growth and integration into the community
Mississippi Humanities Council grant recipient, 2021 – Is working on a community project in Columbus, MS that encourages local youth to engage with and create art to tell their own stories and contribute to the narrative of their communities
Flipped a pancake without a spatula, 2021 – Discovered it is, indeed, all in the wrist; may not be able to repeat such a feat
