First Social Club Desegregates

The D’Belles appear to be the first traditional social club to desegregate.  Their group photograph from the 1979 Meh Lady, more than a decade after the university desegregated, shows a single black member (identity unconfirmed).

Other social clubs took longer to desegregate, in some cases, well into the 1990s and 2000s.
