Mission<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Center for Education Support (CES) advances education as the foundation of progress through engagement, outreach, and support that foster lifelong learning, accountability, and regional growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who We Are<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

CES is the hub of engagement, outreach, and innovation for the School of Education at The W. We connect students, alumni, faculty, and community partners through programs, events, and initiatives that extend learning beyond the classroom. Grounded in hospitality and service, CES strengthens educator pipelines, builds partnerships, and drives regional impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Partnerships and Outreach: <\/strong>Develop collaborations, deliver professional learning and CEUs, and convene partners to advance education and workforce readiness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Accountability and Excellence: <\/strong>Manage grants, gifts, and reporting through strong systems, transparency, and service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Vision<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The Center for Education Support serves as the School of Education\u2019s hub for engagement, outreach, and accountability. Through partnerships, professional learning, and a culture of hospitality and innovation, CES strengthens educator pipelines, elevates alumni and community engagement, and expands The W\u2019s regional and statewide impact in education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Director, Center for Education Support<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Oversees all CES offices and initiatives across the School of Education. Leads event planning, marketing, and social media strategy. Supports faculty and students beyond academic coursework, manages grants and gifts, and builds partnerships that position CES as a regional hub for educational support. Advances post-graduation professional growth and alumni connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Office of Early Childhood, Educational Project Coordinator<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Supports children, families, and educators from birth through age 8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Coordinates the WISE Start Project and Excel By 5 certification<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Leads family-focused events, teacher training, and community partnerships<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Supports CPDC marketing, early learning outreach, and parent engagement<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Oversees community partnerships and Minors on Campus compliance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Office of Enrichment and Governor\u2019s School, Educational Project Coordinator<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Supports current students and builds pathways for future students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • Coordinates Mississippi Governor\u2019s School and student enrichment programs<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Leads Awards Day, counselor engagement, and pre-college partnerships<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Manages student storytelling, lounge space, and MGS\/CES social media<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Supports student marketing and academic event planning<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Office of Professional Learning, Educational Project Coordinator<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Advances educator growth and workforce development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • Manages the Professional Learning Academy (PLA) and CEU delivery statewide<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Partners with schools, districts, and professionals for continuing education<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Supports faculty with school-based needs and partner recognition<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Leads hiring fairs, outreach events, and educator development initiatives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          Administrative Assistant<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Supports the daily operations and infrastructure of CES.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          • Manages budgets, purchasing, and documentation procedures<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Maintains systems, calendars, and facility coordination for EDHS<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Provides event logistics, student worker supervision, and office-wide communication<\/li>\n\n\n\n
