Afterward\, Taylor did Archaeology with the National Park Service at many locations in the Southeast United States. \nLater she taught at a High School and Community College in Guayaquil\, Ecuador\, South America\, using her skills in Art\, Anthropology and ESL. She returned to school after her arrival home in Mississippi\, receiving a Masters of Art Education\, with an emphasis in Printmaking and Sculpture at the University of Southern Mississippi. \nAfter collecting this studio education degree\, she continued in academia to earn an MFA degree in Painting and Photography from The University of Alabama\, in Tuscaloosa\, while working adjunct teaching at Shelton State Community College. She now teaches art\, and is curator of the gallery at Meridian Community College\, in Meridian\, Mississippi. \nTaylor shows her work both regionally and abroad.
