She is active in the American Health Information Management Association and the North Mississippi Health Information Association. She maintains her Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) credential every 2 years and is published in the United States National Library of Congress. Dr. Alpe teaches health care management and management information systems courses and is a member of the Graduate Faculty.
