Libby Hawkins received her MFA in Theatre with a concentration in Acting from the University of South Carolina, where she studied Suzuki with Robyn Hunt and Steve Pearson. She also holds her Professional Actor Training Certificate from the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts in Santa Maria, CA, where she focused on acting and musical theatre.  

Past directing credits include: The Amphibians - Kitchen Dog Theatre New Works Festival (Dallas, TX); This is a Mortality Play Set in an Office Depot - Imprint Theatre Works New Playwrights Festival (Dallas, TX); Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley - Trustus Theatre (Columbia, SC); Macbeth - The Warehouse Theatre Education Tour (Greenville, SC); Measure for Measure - Upstate Shakespeare Festival (Greenville, SC); Cry It Out (Assistant Director to Rebekah Suellah) - The Warehouse Theatre; Aphra Behn (Assistant Director to Lindsay Rae Taylor) - Theatre South Carolina (Columbia, SC); Eleemosynary - Center for Performance Experiment (Columbia, SC).
