Columbus, Miss. - The W’s Department of Music will present “An Evening with The Romantics” featuring vocalist Elizabeth Jones and pianist Dr. Rosangela Sebba, Monday, Sept. 29 at 7:30 p.m. in the Connie Sills Kossen Auditorium of Poindexter Hall.


Jones is known for her versatility in both soprano and mezzo-soprano repertoire. She has previously performed in the Opera Training Workshop at the Academy of Vocal Arts, The Miami Music Festival and the Sherrill Mines’s Savannah Voice Festival.  She also received first place in the 2011 Classical Singer Competition and at the 2013 NATS competition.

Dr. Sebba is noted for her lecture-recitals that have taken her to Brazil, Mexico, Portugal, England and Spain. Dr. Shebba is currently on the board of the Mississippi Music Teachers Association as the VP for the Collegiate and National Competitions. Her CD album “Eight Sonatinas and the Sonata for Piano Solo by M. Camargo Guarnieri” was featured on WWFM’s classical piano program The Piano Matters.
