In order to be eligible for a scholarship, students must submit an 5-25 page sample of their best writing in poetry, fiction, non-fiction, or drama by April 1. Additionally, incoming students are strongly encouraged to complete their application and financial aid applications prior to April 1. Incoming Freshmen must have a minimum composite ACT of 20 or an SAT of 950 to be eligible. At present there is no application process for the majority of these awards. Prospective students must be admitted to the university prior to the audition date. All students who audition will automatically be considered for a music scholarship<\/strong><\/em>. The audition dates listed above are for students who want to major in Music Education, Music Therapy, or Music. Auditions for choral ensembles happen at the beginning of every semester.
