The minor evolved from discussions in meetings of the American Studies Teaching Circle and includes study in history, society and culture. It would require no new courses or additional resources.  It will appeal to and help recruit students from abroad.  Cay Lollar made the motion to accept the proposal as presented.  Amanda Dahl seconded the motion and was passed unanimously.
