PROGRAM- Summer Discovery is a unique educational program that goes beyond fact finding toward providing
opportunities for gifted students to discover their own areas of interest and potential, to think critically and creatively about different concepts, problems, and issues, and to create new and original ideas and products. The program allows participants to experience the fun and freedom of learning while interacting with other gifted students from across the Columbus area who have similar interests and abilities.
 

SCHEDULE- Discovery students in Kindergarten will meet at Cook Elementary on weekdays from 8:30AM-2:30PM. Students in grades 1-6 will meet at Cook Elementary from 8:30AM-4:30PM.

COST- The cost of the ¾ day (8:30-2:30) Kindergarten program is $120.00. The cost of the all-day
1st-6th grade program is $150.00. This fee includes tuition, instructional activities, supplies, and materials, and limited insurance. Checks should be made payable to Mississippi University for Women. Financial aid is available on a limited basis.

**Balance is due no later than the morning the program begins. Early payments can be brought to the front office in the Education and Human Sciences building on the MUW campus.
