Minority Day
2008

On behalf of the 2008 Minority
Day Planning Committee, we would like to cordially invite
you to attend the 5th Annual Minority Day, which will be
held on Friday, April 11, 2008 from 10:30am – 9:00pm on the
campus of Mississippi University for Women. This year’s
theme is “A Different World."
Check-in starts at 10:30am in the Hogarth Student Center.
This program is hosted by members of the IMAGE (Increasing
Minority Access to Graduate Education) at Mississippi
University for Women.
This program aspires to increase minority high school
seniors' awareness in regards to
applying and attending college. In addition, students will
gain knowledge pertaining to academic offerings, scholarship
opportunities, social interaction, and the opportunity to
learn about our
Summer BRIDGE Institute (June 29th - August 2nd 2008).
If you have any questions about this
program, contact Glenda Clark
(Chair of Minority Day) or
Flapp Cockrell (IMAGE
Site Coordinator) at 662 329 7350 or send them an email.
Note: This program is only available to graduating high
school seniors.
The application
process for Minority Day is closed. We are not
accepting anymore applications at this time.
