2007-2008 SGA Senate Committees

Dining hall

• Reviews Cafeteria menu on a regular basis
• Communicates with Roger Busby and Sodexho
• Voices the concerns and opinions of the Student Body
• Works toward a filling and healthy menu that can be enjoyed in a comfortable environment
• Manages the Food Ambassador program

Commuter Lounge/Bachelor Bid

• Represents the needs of commuter students
• Addresses all concerns regarding the upkeep and materials in the commuter lounge
• Leads the Senate in organizing Bachelor Bid, which includes securing Master(s) of Ceremony, bachelors, and gift certificates from local restaurants

Special Projects

• Organizes charity event for Spring Semester (TBA)
• Responsible for Book Swap, held at the beginning and ending of each semester
• Promotes Student Listserv membership
• Communicates with McDevitt about wireless hot spots on campus
• Meets with Library to discuss long-term remodeling plans
• Assists other committees when needed
