Safety

Every effort will be made to ensure the safety of our participants.  Students will be with a guide or instructor at all times.  Participants aboard the pontoon boat will be required to wear a life vest and be seated at all times while the vessel is underway.

While we will do our best to make sure participants avoid potentially harmful places or situations, it should be understood that many of our programs take place outdoors and we cannot control all factors in this setting.

Our Project Coordinator, Kenny Langley, will be present at all workshops and will take part in all programs.  He is Red Cross certified in First Aid, as well as adult and child/infant CPR.  We also carry a fully-loaded first aid kit whenever we are on the boat or the Plymouth Bluff Center grounds.  Our Project Coordinator also carries one or more communication devices at all times in case of emergency.
