The Mississippi Academy of Sciences Annual Meeting.  20-21 Feb 2008.

The meeting this year was held in the Whispering Woods Convention Center in Olive Branch, MS.  Seven students from the Department of Sciences and Mathematics presented talks or posters.  Another eleven departmental students attended.

Victoria Jones won the award for outstanding undergraduate student presentation in the Cellular, Molecular, and Developmental Biology section.

Jahnavi Chatterjee won the award for best undergraduate student presentation in the Chemistry & Chemical Engineering section.
