Repetition of a Failed Course: No credit is given for any course with a grade of "F" until and unless the course is repeated and the grade becomes a passing grade. A student who receives an "F" in a course in his/her required curriculum must repeat the course. Correspondence work and by-pass examinations cannot be used to pass a course that has been failed.
Repetition of a Passed Course: Repetition of a passed course, in an attempt to raise a grade, is permitted. The last grade will stand as the official grade, and both grades earned will be calculated in the cumulative quality point average. However, credit hours for the course will be counted only once in the total number of hours passed.
