Class Descriptions

Rec Fitness classes are FREE to our students, faculty, staff, and Members! Drop-in guests can attend classes by paying guest fees at the front desk. 

Hydrotone Cool off  in the pool with this refreshing, invigorating water workout. This unique workout compliments muscles and allows those who are fit or those with physical limitations to join in the fun! 

Pulse Pointe Barre® PPB is a challenging and creative barre experience that weaves together traditional muscle-sculpting barre choreography with exhilarating cardio segments to define and challenge the body in a whole new way. 

POUND: POUND is a 45 minute group fitness class that combines cardio, strength training 

POUND XPRESS- capitalize with a quick lunch Pound class to burn and firm and pilates with drumming to achieve a full-body workout. Using lightly weighted drumsticks, Ripstix™, participants can expect to burn between 500-900 calories per class and will be performing over 15,000 reps per session!

Yoga: Flow through a sequence of poses to challenge your muscles and invigorate your mind. Experience mind, body, and spirit wellness with deep breathing techniques.

Zumba Beats – a fun, high energy, non-stop aerobic workout combining Latin fitness and hip hop dance to popular “beats” of today. Bonnie rocks this party workout.

Dance Fitness with Abby – need a new way to “shake off” the day? Try this dance class to shape and tone your body.

Powerhouse– Powerhouse is a Pilates inspired workout to achieve optimal full body strength and flexibility while using the core to increase agility and mobility.

Deep Stretch – Add this 15 minute stretch class to your workout regimen and notice the change in your flexibility .

Foam Roller Fitness – This is a 45 minute self myofascial release class that will help revive and restore muscle and joint function by releasing fascia that has become traumatized by overuse, surgery, or inflammation. Please bring water.
KNOCKOUT-  This is not an ordinary kickboxing class. Learn correct form and technique to execute punches and kicks for a total body workout. *We encourage you to bring own gloves. Limited

R.I.P.P.E.D.- This class encompasses all aspects of physical fitness which R.I.P.P.E.D. is an acronym for: Resistance Interval Power Plyo Metrics Endurance and Diet

J's Functional Fitness- Based off the methodology of constantly varied, high-intensity functional movements, this class is designed to challenge participants in a fun, team oriented environment. Weightlifting, cardio, and agility are combined to build functional fitness for everyday life
