Tollison named dean of MUW College of Business and Professional Studies
COLUMBUS, Miss. -- Dr. Scott Tollison, associate professor of management information systems at Mississippi University for Women, has been named dean of the College of Business and Professional Studies, effective July 1.
Tollison has served as business chair at MUW for the past three years.
“I am eager to work with the region’s finest teaching faculty in crafting unique instructional opportunities in business, legal studies and the culinary arts.
“In my eight years at MUW, I have seen the role our programs have in developing graduates ready to make immediate contributions to the local workforce. I am excited by the opportunity to work with our faculty, staff and students in continuing this tradition," he said.
Before joining MUW, Tollison was an instructor at East Mississippi Community College where he taught computer networking technology.
