Parker named president of MAHO

COLUMBUS, Miss. – Sirena Parker, director of community living, was named president of the Mississippi Association of Housing Officers at the annual conference recently held in Gulfport.

The Mississippi Association of Housing Officers exists to provide an opportunity to college and university housing officers for personal and professional growth. The organization meets in order for the exchange of ideas with professional colleagues. MAHO is an association that is open to all institutions of higher education in the state of Mississippi.

Parker also is a member of the Southern Association for College Student Affairs, The Southeastern Association of Housing Officers and Association of College University Housing Officers-International.

She joined MUW as director of community living in February 2008.
