Senior voice recital Nov. 29

COLUMBUS, Miss. -- The Department of Music and Theatre at Mississippi University for Women will present a senior voice recital on Tuesday Nov. 29 at 7:30 p.m. in Carolyn's Room at First United Methodist Church.

Music education majors Jessica Horton, mezzo soprano, and Zane Lynn, tenor, will sing a program of art songs and arias by Purcell, Saint-Saens, Dvorak, Berg and Ives. Both singers are students of Dr. Cherry Dunn, MUW professor of music.

Oboists Bonnie Oppenheimer, professor of mathematics, and Devin Moore will assist on a Bach aria sung by Lynn. MUW alumna and local music teacher Rachel Delk is the collaborative pianist for the recital.

The program is free and open to the public.
