More than 50 employers are registered as part of the event, which will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Pohl Gym.
“The purpose of this Expo is to link all applicable employees with the best employers. The great thing about this is that the employees can be interviewed on the spot, and that is why it is important to come with of the necessary documentation,” said Towanda Williams, MUW assistant director of career services.
Applicants are encouraged to bring their resumes as well as be dressed for the part, Williams added, noting that some employers may be ready to hire on the spot.
Williams said that there will be a resume workshop on the campus of MUW on Sept. 26. This workshop will be held at 6 p.m. in the Nissan Auditorium, Parkinson Hall. During the workshop, Williams will share vital tips on the proper way to create and improve resumes.
