The event will consist of educational breakout sessions and networking opportunities.
Terence Nicholson, founder/president of the Stand up-Speak up Toastmasters Club on campus, said, “The Toastmasters Leadership Institute training is a wonderful educational event that will help many people develop their speaking and leadership skills and help them to take these skills to a new level. I am very excited about this district-sponsored event because this event is helping to ensure that the Stand up-Speak up Toastmasters Club receives the proper training to be a successful organization on the campus of Mississippi University for Women.”
He added, “I am looking forward to seeing other fellow Toastmasters who will be attending this event from surrounding areas as well. This event is a great self-improvement and learning opportunity for anyone that would like to enhance their communication skills.”
The campus organization is open to students, faculty, staff and community members. Meetings are held bi-monthly.
