MUW welcomes new students to campus

COLUMBUS, Miss. -- Mississippi University for Women is preparing for its upcoming orientation sessions to acclimate incoming freshmen and transfer students to college life.

Freshmen will have a choice to attend an earlier orientation session June 13 or a later session scheduled for June 27.

Orientation for transfer students will be on June 10 and another on June 24. 

Sessions will include aiding students in pre-registering for fall classes, an opportunity to meet with an advisor and a display of social organizations. There also will be a session for parents and family members to introduce them to the university and provide them with ways to be supportive.
