Holland serves on Visiting Panel for National Board Research
COLUMBUS, Miss. – Dr. Jeanne Holland, associate professor of education at Mississippi University for Women, was invited to serve as a member of the Visiting Panel for National Board Research.
The panel has an impressive record of guiding and promoting research that is important and valuable to the development and enhancement of the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards programs and policies and to the teacher professional development community generally.
The panel serves the organization in a variety of ways including advising the National Board's research agenda, defining the parameters of commissioned research, identification of emerging research and scholars, conducting peer reviews of studies and presenting at professional research and policy forums.
The Visiting Panel for National Board Research meeting convened in April in Washington, D.C., and will meet at least one more time during 2011.
Holland has worked at MUW since 2005.
