MUW alumna releases her debut novel, ‘Catfish Alley’

COLUMBUS, Miss. --Columbus native Lynne Bryant, who is also a 1981 graduate of Mississippi University for Women, will be in town Saturday, April 9 for the debut of her novel, "Catfish Alley."

The book signing will begin at 10 a.m. in the Tennessee Williams Home Welcome Center located at 300 Main Street.

Locally inspired, "Catfish Alley" tackles issues many Southerners can identify with and often struggle to understand.

Bryant, who grew up in New Hope, graduated from the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at MUW. She also served as a BSN faculty member in the mid-1980s.
