 Dr. Ward elected to National Council of the American Society for Public Administration

COLUMBUS, Miss. -- Dr. James D. Ward, professor of political science at Mississippi University for Women, was recently elected to the National Council of the American Society for Public Administration. 

ASPA is the premier professional service organization for academicians and practitioners of public policy and administration. Ward was elected to the organization's governing body from District 3 which spans the geographical area of the southeastern United States. 

He will be sworn in for a three-year term at the next ASPA National Conference which will take place March 11-15 in Baltimore, Md.

Dr. Ward is coordinator of the public administration certificate program at MUW. He also serves on the Advisory Board for the masters program in public policy and administration at Mississippi State University. ASPA has advanced excellence in public service since 1939.
