MUW Fall Choral Concert Nov. 2

COLUMBUS, Miss. -- Mississippi University for Women's Department of Music and Theatre will present its 2010 Fall Choral Concert on Tuesday, Nov. 2 at 7:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Columbus.
 
The concert, which is free and open to the public, will feature the MUW Chorale and MUW University Chorus, women’s ensembles, as well as the MUW Chamber Choir and Encore, mixed ensembles. Music presented will range from renaissance to jazz.

MUW's music department is excited to welcome a new director, Doug Browning, who currently serves as interim director of music at First United Methodist Church, where he has been for two years. Browning directed choirs at Murrah High School for five years and at Holmes Community College for four years before moving to Columbus.
