‘If You Give a Mouse a Cookie’ to be performed at MUW 

COLUMBUS, Miss. – The Department of Music and Theatre at Mississippi University for Women will present ‘If You Give a Mouse a Cookie’ to the public on Thursday, Sept. 30th at 7 p.m.   

The performance will be held in Rent Auditorium, Whitfield Hall. Tickets will be $5 for adults and $3 for children.  

The play is based on the well-known children’s book by Laura Numeroff. This play turns the simple, innocent act of offering a mouse a cookie into a catastrophe. It is a fun tale of boy meets mouse, gives mouse cookie and mouse wreaks havoc. 

The cast includes Dustin Gibson as the Boy and Jessi Tidwell as the Mouse. The play is directed by Sarah Hickox. Understudies for the roles include Andrew Partin and Kat Magaña.
