Sunday at the Bluff program to feature Dr. Evan Peacock
COLUMBUS, Miss. – Dr. Evan Peacock will discuss “Exploring Indian Mounds: A (R)evolutionary Approach” at the next Sunday at the Bluff program scheduled for Oct. 3 at 2 p.m.
Peacock is a professor of anthropology in the Department of Anthropology and Middle Eastern Cultures, as well as a senior research associate with the Cobb Institute of Archaeology at Mississippi State University.
In observance of Mississippi Archaeology Month, the program is being sponsored by the Plymouth Bluff Center and the Tombigbee Chapter of the Mississippi Archaeological Association.
The event will be held at the Plymouth Bluff Center, which is located on 2200 Old West Point Road in Columbus. It is open to the public at no charge.
