Nawrocki’s prints to be shown in exhibitions and competitions

COLUMBUS, Miss. - Tom Nawrocki, art professor at Mississippi University for Women, has prints selected in the following art exhibitions:

• PRINTMAKING EXHIBIT, Infinity International On Line Art Gallery in Eugene, Oregon Award with a 12 month Personal Profile at http://www.infinityartgallery.com/portfolios/NawrockiT/

• Deep South Eight State Print Exhibition at the Hammond Regional Art Center in New Orleans, La.

• 72nd Exhibition of the American Color Print Society at the Cheltenham Center for the Arts in Philadelphia, Pa.

Nawrocki will have shaped dimensional digital prints, color intaglio diptych prints and mezzotint prints accepted in the following art competitions:

Nawrocki has taught printmaking and fiber arts at MUW since 1970. He was selected as the 2006 Visual Artist of the Year by the Mississippi Institute of Arts and Letters.

His works have appeared in more than 400 state, regional, national and international art competitions. He also has participated in shows in Korea, Poland, The Netherlands, Japan, Brazil, India, Germany, The Czech Republic and many others.
