Sunday at Bluff program to feature Howle's `Birds of Northeast Mississippi '
COLUMBUS , Miss. – Mississippi University for Women's Plymouth Bluff Center will feature “Birds of Northeast Mississippi” by Judy Howle on Sunday, Aug. 22 at 2 p.m.
“Birds of Northeast Mississippi” is an exhibit of photographic art featuring local birds, along with an introduction to some of the more interesting natural areas of Northeast Mississippi . Most of the photos were taken in Lowndes County and at the Noxubee Wildlife Refuge in Oktibbeha County .
Howle is a member of the Oktibbeha Audubon Society and currently teaches photography classes at the Rosenzweig Arts Center (RAC). She also has taught similar classes offered by the MUW Department of Continuing Education.
Her photographs have been exhibited at the MUW Fine Arts Gallery and the RAC.
The Plymouth Bluff Center is located on 2200 Old West Point Road in Columbus . The program is open to the public at no charge.
