Community college faculty exhibition to be held on MUW campus

COLUMBUS, Miss. – The Mississippi University for Women Department of Art and Design’s Community College Faculty Exhibition will be on display until March 4 in the Eugenia Summer Gallery of the Art and Design Building.

The exhibition displays work from nine different artists who teach at community colleges around Mississippi. These teachers are John Marshall of Meridian Community College, Curtis Houston and Daniel Bass of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, Shawn Whittington and Thomas Douglas of Itawamba Community College, Lisa Spinks and Terry Cherry of East Mississippi Community College in Scooba and Tom Ross and Janet Campbell of Copiah-Lincoln.

The Eugenia Summer Gallery is located on the first floor of the Art and Design building, which is east of the Stark Recreation Center. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
