Oppenheimer and colleagues receive Best Paper Award
COLUMBUS, Miss. – Dr. Bonnie Oppenheimer, a professor of mathematics at Mississippi University for Women, along with four others from Mississippi State University, received a Best Paper Award from the Association for Global Business Conference.
The paper, “Effects of Brand Image on Consumer Evaluations,” was presented at the International Academy of Linguistics, Behavioral and Social Sciences in Orlando, Fla., in November.
Dr. Oppenheimer was excited about the recognition, noting she found it amusing because none of the participants work in that field of research, but took the opportunity when it presented itself.
The other writers, all of MSU, were Dr. Seungho Cho, an assistant professor of communication; Dr. Mark Goodman, a professor of communication; Dr. James Codling, a lecturer in the Leadership and Foundations Program; and Thomas Robinson, a graduate student in communication.
