Rev. Rayfield Evins to speak at Community Prayer Breakfast

COLUMBUS, Miss. – The Rev. Rayfield Evins, pastor of Southside M.B. Church, will be the guest speaker for Town & Tower Club’s annual Community Prayer Breakfast scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 4.
Breakfast will be held in Pope Banquet Room of Hogarth Dining Center and will begin at 7 a.m. The cost is $10.
           
Evins, who became the pastor of Southside in April 2009, also is employed with Community Counseling Services, where he serves as county administrator for Choctaw and Webster counties.
           
He has a master of science in vocational rehabilitation from Mississippi State University and a bachelor of arts in psychology from the University of Mississippi. He also has an associate of arts in humanities from Northwest Community College.
           
Evins is a certified instructor for cardiopulmonary resuscitation, The Crisis Prevention Institute and Mental Health First Aid.
           
He and his wife, Angela, reside in Starkville with their three children.
