MUW and BMH-GT to sponsor health and wellness luncheon series

COLUMBUS, Miss. - Mississippi University for Women’s Department of Health and Kinesiology and Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle will sponsor a Women’s Health and Wellness luncheon on Oct. 28 and 29, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

On Wednesday, Dr. Bethany Reed Hairston, FAAD, a native of Columbus, will discuss knowing your skin. Hairston, who is a board-certified dermatologist, completed her dermatology residency training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.

The series will conclude on Thursday with Dr. Christina Collins, who will discuss staying healthy at any age. Collins earned her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Science Center in Shreveport and completed her residency at LSU Health Science Center. She recently joined BMH-GT and specializes in internal medicine and pediatrics.
