Nawrocki has prints accepted into shows

COLUMBUS, Miss. – Artwork by Tom Nawrocki, professor of art at Mississippi University for Women, has been accepted into various exhibits.

His color prints will be shown at the Mid-America Print Council Juried Exhibition at the University of Southern Indiana in the Kenneth P. McCutchan Art Center. They also will be shown at the Palmina F. and Stephen S. Pace Galleries. Both shows are located in Evansville, Ind., and run through Oct. 30.

Nawrocki will have prints shown Nov. 1 through Nov. 29 at the 70th Exhibition of the American Color Print Society at The Plastic Club in Philadelphia, Pa.

The 20th North America Print Competition, which is sponsored by the Los Angeles Printmaking Society, will be showing his prints at the Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery in Los Angeles, Calif., from Oct. 30 through Dec. 29.

Nawrocki joined MUW in 1970 and teaches printmaking, fiber arts and design.
